In solidarity with all DEIB professionals who have lost their jobs due to the Trump Administration, we are introducing The Trump Special.

The Trump Special

We recognize that since January 20, 2025 many have lost or are in the process of losing their jobs as a direct result of President Trump’s executive orders which falsely portray diversity, equity, and inclusion as discriminatory.

To ensure work in DEIB continues in whatever form it has to take, we encourage all, including those that have become unemployed or underemployed, to continue up-skilling and deepening their competency in culture-change.

To these ends, we are offering 50% off registration from either the ICS Certificate or InCDP Certification program. Click the button below to request a discount code you can use to sign up!

FAQ

  • Dr. Arciniega was faculty for the National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional (NDCCDP) for many years, and in that role she helped revise the curriculum and conduct market research on all CDP programs available in the country. We are confident that this program is unique to others that also provide CDP instruction.

The ICS programs, developed by Dr. Arciniega and Dr. Maceyko, provide the knowledge, competency, and skills needed to create inclusive cultural change in organizations, and also at home and in society.

Different from other DEIB-related programs, the ICS programs draw on anthropology and sociology to create a framework through which DEIB work can be thought of as cultural change, rather than as driven by one-size fits all practices.

Additionally, many CDP programs are designed to provide foundational knowledge. Even if you have been doing DEIB work for twenty years, we are confident that through the ICS programs you will gain skills that will strengthen and deepen your practice.

  • Most certificates on DEIB focus on best practices. That means that many of these certificates are interchangeable, providing various levels of depth to the content acquired. Our ICS programs, while they include DEIB best practices, are designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to create inclusive cultural change in your departments and organizations. A cultural approach means that we are looking at how individuals can gain self-awareness and reflexivity, create changes in how we communicate and interact, how organizations can improve processes and systems, and how we can intervene in societal norms, change our assumptions, and lead a life that is more intentionally inclusive.

We still encourage you to take the other certificates! Particularly, free DEIB certificates are invaluable as they provide foundational knowledge needed to do DEIB work.

  • We don’t ask anyone to verify underemployment or unemployment. We work on an honor system, believing that those that can afford full price registration will do so to continue supporting us and DEIB work! We encourage those that are fully employed to seek professional development funds from their organizations to supplement or cover registration fees.
