Overview
Thriving organizations and societies are built upon strong, inclusive cultures. Inclusive organizations attract and retain talent, drive innovation, enhance overall performance, and contribute to the wellbeing of a society. Despite the current political climate, which aims to dismantle DEI across the country, countless of research has shown—and continues to show—that companies that prioritize diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) outperform those that do not. We also know that DEIB is good for societies across the world. Yet, each organization has their unique culture, which creates challenges and opportunities to successfully implement sustainable DEIB strategies.
Similarly, every organization is responding to pressure from the federal government in their own unique way. This ICS course helps professionals currently navigating these climates to create unique strategies that can help them foster more inclusive cultures, where everyone can feel like they belong.
Created and led by two PhD anthropologists, the Inclusive Culture Strategy Certificate and Inclusive Culture Strategy Certified Diversity Program (InCDP) provide a comprehensive foundation in organizational culture and DEIB, centering approaches that help drive inclusive culture-change. They equip participants with the skills to support or lead in the design, building, and sustaining of inclusive organizational cultures. The programs draw on a wide-range of perspectives in business cultures, intercultural communication, systemic inequities, ethnographic research methods, and change management approaches to help participants develop impactful inclusive strategies locally and around the world.
-
Dive into the rich history of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. You will explore the evolution of DEIB, gaining a deep understanding of how legislation and social movements inform current practices and strategies in today’s workplaces.
-

-
Learn to set, measure, and evaluate DEIB within your organization. This experience will equip you with the skills to track progress effectively, ensuring that your DEIB initiatives are both impactful and sustainable.
-

Participate in the InCDP track to develop a comprehensive DEIB Strategic Plan tailored to your organizational needs or in the ICS track to develop DEIB strategies via case studies.
